Bitmine reports 6.06 million ETH, with most of it staked
Bitmine’s 2 November treasury update reports 6,060,506 ETH held as of the previous afternoon, following a weekly purchase of 8,573 ETH. The company puts its holding at 4.9% of Ethereum’s supply.
Of that balance, Bitmine says 5,227,037 ETH was staked. Its release values crypto, cash, marketable securities and other investments together at $14.5 billion. That headline total is broader than ether holdings alone and uses a stated price snapshot; it is not a current portfolio quote.
For ordinary Ethereum readers, the significance is concentration as well as buying. One listed company now reports ownership approaching one-twentieth of the supply, with a large portion committed to staking. That makes its financing and treasury decisions worth watching without treating another purchase as a forecast for ETH’s price.
Bitmine also discusses projected staking revenue and its MAVAN operation. Those forecasts depend on yields and deployment assumptions. They are not guaranteed returns to shareholders or token holders.
