What does that mean for the project?
These percentages divide the base fee, not the whole purchase. Under the recorded settings, a 1 ETH quote leg has a 0.01 ETH base fee: 0.003 ETH for the protocol, 0.0035 ETH earmarked for buybacks and 0.0035 ETH as the direct creator share.
Buybacks depend on the curve’s rules and may be skipped or paid to the creator instead. Purchased tokens go into a five-year vesting vault; this is not a buyback-and-burn programme. The whitepaper does not promise a fixed development budget or payments to holders.

Can I create a wallet by signing in here?
Yes. Open Pond Wallet and choose Google, X or email. Wallet setup is explained before sign-in. Existing readers can choose Create Pond wallet there. News reading does not require a wallet.
Can I use ETH on another network?
This pair uses ETH on Robinhood Chain. If yours is on Ethereum, Base or elsewhere, use a service that explicitly supports bridging to Robinhood Chain. Check the destination and fees first.
Does holding the token unlock PondLab?
No. PondLab is still a private prototype. Token benefits are proposals, not live features or a promise of future access.
Are there holder rewards or staking?
No programme is announced on this page. The recorded creator fees are not a holder dividend. Any future funded programme would need its own published rules.
How do I check I’m buying the right token?
Match Robinhood Chain and the full contract: 0x7b9bd24ae56c749ba0e6d2e6b9397348d4becdce. The name and picture alone are not enough.
