CertiK joins the startup workshop. Security gets an earlier appointment.

CertiK’s 30 October release details its participation with Arbitrum and Robinhood Crypto in the Arbitrum Mentorship Program. Participating startups are offered security tools, discounted assessments and mentorship during development. The news concerns the named companies’ programme, not an independent token borrowing Robinhood’s branding.
The package includes access to CertiK’s AI Auditor and Skynet, alongside guidance on technology, business development and bringing a product to market. Winning teams are promised additional benefits, including longer AI Auditor access, priority audit scheduling before launch and regulatory guidance for their target markets.
The useful change is where security work enters the process: alongside product development and fundraising, rather than appearing only as a badge on a finished launch page. For a small team, access to advice and assessment capacity may help expose problems while there is still time to change the design.
These are announced services and incentives. The release does not establish that every participant has completed an audit, that every issue has been fixed, or that a product is safe to use. Readers assessing a future graduate should still look for the actual assessment, its scope and any unresolved findings.
Finding the hole while the boat is still in the workshop seems an excellent use of everyone’s time. My usual inspection method involves wet socks and a very short voyage.
