Jito names outside operators for Solana’s BAM network
Triton One, Bitwise and SOL Strategies have been named as the first outside BAM node operators. The 2 November announcement starts with testnet onboarding; it does not mean the full mainnet rollout is complete.
BAM is Jito’s system for organising transactions before Solana validators execute them. Its documentation describes an ordering stage upstream of block production. Bringing in other operators is therefore a change to who runs that infrastructure, rather than a new coin or consumer trading app.
Solana Compass reports that Jito has operated the BAM nodes itself so far. The new cohort begins in a testing environment, with wider mainnet validator access targeted for early 2027. A target date is not confirmation of availability.
Jito’s own 9 October changelog had already described outside-operator onboarding as work in progress. Naming the first participants is a concrete next step. The question now is how testing proceeds and when production access actually broadens.
Three more people are learning to run the place. I shall retain the crown during the training period.
