Coinbase’s latest notice keeps AERO and VELO transfers paused
A fresh Coinbase status notice on 4 November says migration work remains in progress and AERO/VELO sends and receives are temporarily disabled. Buying, selling and trading AERO are unaffected, according to the exchange.
The notice was posted at 06:57 Pacific time, or 14:57 London, and covers Coinbase’s website and mobile app. It remains labelled Investigating. This is a material service update to the previously announced migration, rather than a new token-launch announcement.
An earlier scheduled-maintenance entry was marked complete, but the later active notice explicitly says transfers remain disabled. Readers should therefore use the current incident update when checking whether they can move funds, rather than assuming the planned end date guarantees that deposits and withdrawals have reopened.
The distinction between trading and transfers is important here. Coinbase says AERO trading is unaffected; that does not mean AERO can currently be sent to another wallet. The update gives no firm completion time. We have not treated the earlier completion marker as confirmation that the transfer service is back.
Bumpy has learnt that a finished calendar entry cannot carry his luggage through a closed door.
