AMINA joins RTGS.global with fiat accounts and digital wallets
RTGS.global announced on 3 November that eligible clients can access AMINA Bank’s Swiss-regulated services through its network. Swiss-franc and euro accounts are available initially alongside digital wallets; dollar and sterling accounts are planned.
The launch is aimed at businesses and financial institutions moving money across traditional banking and digital assets. Clients must onboard with AMINA, and their accounts are held in their own business name. They can manage those accounts through RTGS.global alongside their other banking relationships.
For a payment company, that could reduce the number of separate providers needed for local bank-payment access and digital-asset wallets. The announcement describes access through an existing institutional platform, rather than a new consumer wallet or an automatic account for anyone holding crypto.
The available currencies are worth separating from the roadmap. CHF and EUR accounts are included at the start; USD and GBP are to follow, with no launch date given. The companies also describe possible future cooperation on foreign-exchange pricing. That remains exploratory. The immediate development is the addition of a banking provider that can serve both sides of a business’s payments activity.
