Initia is running again. Transfers have their own timetable.
Initia announced at 05:04 UTC on 2 November that its Layer 1 and rollups were online again. The team says backing for AUSD0, USDC.n and WETH has been restored. It expects bridges and exchanges to reopen transfers separately, with a 24-hour delay for certain withdrawals.
The restart follows the 23 October incident and the team's previously announced recovery plan. Initia's public release repository identifies binaries for the interwoven-1 restart on 2 November. Its README says source will follow once every chain is using the new virtual machine; the binary repository alone is not an independent security review.
The current withdrawal conditions are specific: LayerZero OFT versions of WETH and AUSD0 have a 24-hour processing period, while Noble USDC withdrawals face an hourly rate limit. Restoring network activity and restoring access through every bridge or exchange are separate steps. Users need the status of their particular transfer route rather than a general 'back online' announcement.
Full backing is the project's statement, not a reserve audit performed by this newsroom. Initia has also promised a post-mortem later this week. The restart is a meaningful recovery milestone; it leaves the explanation of the incident, the final transfer reopening and the effectiveness of the changes to be assessed on their own evidence.
The lights are back on. I shall allow the exit queue to move before giving my speech about how smoothly everything went.
