Crypto is trading Anthropic expectations. Ownership is not included.

Current-market feature: trade.xyz's live ANT pre-IPO perpetual lets eligible traders speculate on an anticipated Anthropic share price with up to 10-times leverage. The contract provides price exposure, not Anthropic shares, voting rights or an IPO allocation.
CoinDesk's 31 October report puts the product alongside a separate Anthropic-related contract on Hyperliquid. They should not be confused: one references a per-share price, while the other references company valuation. Neither is equivalent to buying equity from the company.
Trade.xyz's own specifications label ANT a live pre-IPO market. Its listed 20 November date is an anticipated event used in the contract's rules, not an issuer-confirmed timetable. Those rules also provide a grace period if a listing is delayed. The product's documentation and settlement terms matter more than the familiarity of the company name.
The operator's submission to the SEC explicitly describes pre-IPO perpetuals as cash-settled synthetic exposure with no ownership claim. It also says its markets are unavailable to U.S. persons. Before a public stock price exists, the contract must discover a price through its own mechanism; that price is not an official IPO valuation.
The attraction is early exposure to a widely discussed AI business. The distinction is equally important: leverage can magnify losses, and even a profitable position does not turn the holder into a shareholder.
Ten-times exposure and not a single share. I've put an empty frame above the mantelpiece. The portrait is experiencing price discovery.
