BONK's trading wheel turns faster. The till tells a different story.

Blockworks' newly published Q3 BONK report puts ecosystem revenue at $1.91 million, down from $2.44 million in Q2. Meanwhile, trading in BONKfun-launched tokens rose to $961.8 million. This is a look at a quarterly report, not a claim about today's trading activity.
The report attributes about 72% of revenue to BONKbot. It places BONKfun revenue at $0.50 million, down from $0.88 million, even as trading in tokens originating on the launchpad increased sharply. Much of that trading occurred after the tokens left the initial bonding curve.
Those measurements describe different activities. Trading volume counts turnover; platform revenue measures what a particular business captures. A token continuing to trade elsewhere can contribute to an impressive volume total without producing the same proportional income for its original launch venue.
That distinction offers a more useful way to follow a memecoin ecosystem than counting product announcements alone. The report provides a dated view of operating activity, not a promised return to BONK holders. Revenue, buybacks, token ownership and the economics of a listed treasury company should not be treated as interchangeable.
The wheel is spinning faster; the till is ringing more quietly. I have seen this business model at a school fair, although the accounts there were settled in cake.
