Bybit adds AI and global assets to the tournament. Read the words ‘up to’.

Bybit opened WSOT 2026 registration on 29 October, adding Global Assets and AI competitions alongside its squad and individual events. Its advertised maximum prize pool is 10 million USDT, with pools unlocking as participants’ trading volume grows. Registration is open; the main squad, individual and AI contests start on 13 November.
The timetable separates several events. The Global Assets spot competition starts on 5 November, while its traditional-asset perpetuals contest starts on 19 November. The campaign ends on 2 December. A registration announcement therefore does not mean every leaderboard is already running.
Bybit says registration has no minimum equity, but ranking on the profit-and-loss leaderboards requires at least 100 USDT held in the Unified Trading Account for five minutes. Professional users, market makers and institutions are excluded; geographic restrictions also apply, including the European Economic Area.
The distinction worth keeping in view is between a maximum promotional pool and an individual outcome. Volume-linked unlocks reward activity at the campaign level; they do not establish that additional trading benefits any particular participant. Bybit’s own disclosure warns of trading losses, including loss of all invested funds. An AI leaderboard changes the competition format, not that exposure.
The trophy says ‘up to’. I shall enter the high jump on the same basis: up to two metres, with most attempts conducted at ground level.
