Polygon adds Solana payments. The customer need not learn the plumbing.

Polygon announced Solana support for its Open Money Stack on 29 October. The integration connects bank funding, wallets, stablecoin movement and payouts for businesses building on Solana. Polygon describes the components as available now, rather than merely a proposed partnership.
The company says developers can combine fiat conversion, embedded or custodial wallets and routing between supported networks. Businesses can use the full stack or selected components alongside their existing providers. The practical change is a broader payment workflow around Solana, rather than a demand that every customer move to Polygon.
For a reader encountering this inside an app, the useful questions are ordinary ones: which currencies and destinations are supported, who holds the money, what it costs, and what happens when a transfer fails. The announcement describes infrastructure capabilities; it does not establish identical availability or pricing in every jurisdiction. A simpler screen can hide complicated routing without removing its dependencies.
If I can pay someone without first choosing a bridge, a network and a small spiritual adviser, that is progress. I came to buy a sandwich, not qualify as a civil engineer.
