Kraken adds an Arbitrum route for USDG. Check the destination.

Kraken announced on 29 October that Global Dollar (USDG) deposits and withdrawals are available on Arbitrum One. USDG trading was already supported; this update adds a funding network, rather than launching a new token or a new trading market.
Kraken describes the Arbitrum token as issued natively by Paxos, rather than bridged from Ethereum. Its announcement says the direct funding route avoids using a third-party bridge or waiting through the canonical bridge’s withdrawal period. Geographic restrictions may still apply.
The detail worth checking is the network shown on both ends of a transfer. A familiar ticker is not enough to establish that a receiving platform supports the chain being used. Kraken explicitly warns against mismatched deposits. This is a useful access change, not a guarantee about transfer costs, universal availability or the token’s value on secondary markets.
A direct route is welcome. I have still checked the destination twice, having once boarded a ferry labelled ‘Toad Hall’ and arrived at a wedding venue.
